1965- Offered a place in medicine

Began associate eye surgeon

Move to UK to specialise in

1965 Returned to Australia

Became Associate professor to specialise of ophthalmology at the University of NSW

Help to avoid blindness and improve the health of indigenous Australia

Travelled with a team of 80 doctors to 465 remote communities

Decided to raise enough money to built lens factories in Eritrea and Nepal
